Tangy Detox Salad

SUGGESTED INGREDIENTS

  • Barbados Meatless Meatballs
  • Mixed greens
  • Handful of pumpkin seeds
  • 1 cup sprouts

Dressing:

  • 1/4  avocado
  • 1 lime
  • 1/2 cup Olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp of sugar or agave syrup

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Prepare Barbados Meatless Meatballs as directed.
  2. Place on top of greens, feel free to add some avocado, nuts & sprouts.
  3. Blend the juice from one lime, 1⁄4 avocado, 1 Tbsp sugar or agave and 1⁄2 cup olive oil for a tangy, thick dressing.
  4. Feel refreshed & energized for the day! 

Go Bananas!

SUGGESTED INGREDIENTS

  • Barbados Meatless Meatballs
  • Bananas or plantains
  • Butter, coconut oil, or margarine
  • Mango chutney
  • 1 Lemon or lime

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Prepare Barbados Meatless Meatballs as directed.
  2. Fry bananas or plantains in butter until softened and golden.
  3. Serve with chutney or a squeeze of lemon.
  4. Now close your eyes and dream of the islands! 

Sweet Potato Noodles with Guacamole Swirl

INGREDIENTS

  • Heidi's Barbados "Meat"balls
  • Spiralized Sweet Potato (found in the produce section of local Whole Foods)
  • Olive oil
  • Guacamole
  • Salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Prepare Barbados Meatless Meatballs as directed, for 15 minutes at 400°.
  2. Heat oil or butter in frying pan
  3. Add spiralized sweet potato noodles to frying pan and sauté for a few minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add salt and pepper to the sweet potato noodles to taste. The noodles should be warm limp.
  5. Serve Barbados "meat"balls on a bed of sweet potato noodles. Add a dollop of fresh guacamole
  6. Trust us, it's delicious!!
